Terms of Service

These terms form the agreement between you and BAMOT Synergy Hub (RC 7314506), a company registered in Nigeria, when you buy a trademark search or trademark registration service through this website. By paying, you accept them.
1. What we do
We are a trademark agency. We conduct searches of the Nigerian Trademarks Registry and prepare and file trademark applications on behalf of our clients.
We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Nothing on this website or in our communications is legal advice. For advice on infringement, disputes, licensing or litigation, consult a qualified legal practitioner.
2. The two stages
Stage one — Trademark Search (₦5,000 per class)
We check the Trademarks Registry to see whether your brand name or logo appears to be available for registration in the class or classes you select. We aim to send your result within 24 hours of payment.
Stage two — Trademark Registration (₦55,000 per class)
If the search indicates your brand is available and you choose to proceed, we prepare and file your application. Registration is completed within 2–10 working days, and you receive your acknowledgement letter and acceptance letter.
Stage two is a separate purchase. Paying for a search does not commit you to registration, and does not include it.
3. Pricing
- Both fees are charged per trademark class. Three classes at search stage is ₦15,000; at registration stage, ₦165,000.
- Prices are in Nigerian Naira and shown before you pay.
- The ₦5,000 search price is a promotional rate limited to the first 30 searches, after which it increases. The price shown at the moment you pay is the price that applies to you.
- Government and Registry charges are included unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
4. Refunds
The ₦5,000 search fee is not refundable once the search has been carried out, including when the result shows your brand is unavailable. You are paying for the search work itself, not for a particular answer. A result showing the name is taken is a valid result — and it is precisely what saves you from spending ₦55,000 on an application that would fail.
We will refund you in full if:
- You were charged twice for the same search
- We fail to deliver your search result at all
- You cancel in writing before we have begun the search
For registration, refund terms depend on how far the filing has progressed and are confirmed with you in writing before you pay stage two.
Refund requests go to bamotsynergyhub@gmail.com. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 working days.
5. What we cannot guarantee
Please read this section carefully.
- A search is not a guarantee of registration. It reflects the Registry's records at the time we search. Pending applications not yet published, or applications filed after ours, may still conflict with yours.
- We do not control the Registry. Approval, objections, oppositions and timelines are decided by the Trademarks, Patents and Designs Registry, not by us.
- A third party may oppose your mark after publication. That is a feature of the trademark system and outside our control.
- Stated timelines are our normal turnaround, and may be affected by Registry backlogs, downtime or public holidays.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate details. A search run against a misspelled name is still a completed search and is not refundable.
- Confirm you have the right to use and register the brand name or logo you submit.
- Respond promptly when we need information or documents from you.
- Keep the email address and WhatsApp number you gave us active.
7. Payment
Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not receive or store your card details. Work begins once payment is confirmed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with our services is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in question.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, rebranding costs, or loss of goodwill.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Intellectual property
Your brand name, logo and materials remain yours. The content, design and code of this website remain ours.
10. Complaints
Email bamotsynergyhub@gmail.com with your name, reference and what went wrong. We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you pay is the version that applies to your purchase.
